Performance and Arts Company
Chelonia's belief is that the arts are taking a second seat to athletics in
our public schools. It is a proven fact that those students who are involved
in some type of visual or performing arts program score higher on tests, and perform better in real life situations.
What we want to change is the current attitude that the public has
about the arts in general. We also wish to establish a place where those who have skills can take on an apprenticeship
and pass those skills on to future generations. In doing this, those skills are never lost.
Another area that we have established is a place where students can
shine by rising to meet a challenge and going beyond it. With Raven's Loft Faire we provide a venue that can encourage
young adults in a positive way.
